ARCTIQ MOBILE is the mobile entertainment studio of Arctiq Mobile AS. Our app is Fridayroll — video poker in a 1920s art-deco palace lounge, with three machines, their full pay tables and a coach that works out the best hold for every hand you are dealt.

Play money only. Gilt is a play currency with no value. It cannot be bought, sold, transferred or cashed out. Fridayroll is a social casino game for entertainment, intended for adults (18+). It offers no real-money gambling and no chance to win real money or prizes.

Why we exist

A studio for games you can read all the way down.

Arctiq Mobile AS publishes mobile entertainment under the name ARCTIQ MOBILE. We make small, complete games that run on the phone alone — no account to open, nothing to download after install, nothing sold inside.

Video poker suits that idea. Every hand is a real decision, and the arithmetic behind it is public. So instead of hiding the numbers, Fridayroll prints them: the pay table on the glass, the return with best play, how often each hand turns up, and the exact value of the hold you are about to make.

Every hand is dealt from a freshly shuffled 52-card deck, and the draw comes from the same deck. After a paying hand you may take the Double Up, or simply collect.

The hold coach

The coach works out the expected value of all 32 ways to hold the dealt five and marks the best cards to keep. Follow it, or switch it off and play your own way.

Double Up

After a win, risk the payout on a red or black guess for one card at even odds — up to three times in a row — or collect whenever you like.

The Record

Session results, hands played, how often you followed the coach, and a chart of how often each hand came up against its expected rate.

The Court

Five lounge ranks from Page to Sovereign, ten achievements and a machine list that shows what each rank opens.

Royal Stipend

Free Gilt once a day, larger at higher ranks. If the vault runs dry, the stipend is the way back to the table.

How a hand works

Bet, deal, hold, draw.

  1. I

    Choose a stake

    One to five coins with BET ONE or BET MAX. A coin is 20 Gilt, so a hand costs 20 to 100 Gilt. The royal flush pays 250 per coin, or 800 per coin at five coins.

  2. II

    Deal from a fresh deck

    Every hand gets a full Fisher–Yates shuffle of 52 cards, driven by the platform's secure random generator. No card is ever chosen to fit an outcome.

  3. III

    Hold what you want

    Tap cards to stamp a HOLD plaque on them. With the coach on, it shows its best hold and the exact value of that hold; after the draw it tells you whether your hold matched.

  4. IV

    Draw and get paid

    Replacements come off the same shuffled deck. The winning row lights up on the pay glass and the Gilt counts into your vault.

Coach, first hands

The coach is on in the tutorial and waits for you step by step: bet max, deal, read its hold, tap HOLD on those cards, draw, and see the pay line.

Double Up

Red or black · even odds

One card comes off the same deck. Guess its colour right and the pot doubles; guess wrong and the pot is gone. You can guess up to three times in a row, and collect after any correct guess.

The Royal Stipend

Free Gilt once per calendar day on your phone, claimed in the Court. The amount is set by your rank, from 1,000 at Page to 3,000 at Sovereign. It is the only top-up there is — Gilt is never sold.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Is this real-money gambling?

No. Fridayroll is a social casino game played with Gilt, a play currency with no value. There are no in-app purchases, so Gilt cannot be bought, and it cannot be sold, transferred, cashed out or exchanged for money or goods.

Can I win real money or prizes?

No. Nothing in the app can be won outside the app. Winning hands pay Gilt, and Gilt only moves your balance and your rank. Practice or success at social casino gaming does not imply future success at real-money gambling. The game is intended for adults, 18+.

Is the deck fair?

Every hand starts with a full Fisher–Yates shuffle of a standard 52-card deck using a secure random generator. The draw and the Double Up card come from the same shuffled deck, in order. The game never picks a card to produce a result.

What happens if I run out of Gilt?

When your balance drops below the smallest stake of 20 Gilt, the Empty Vault screen appears. The daily Royal Stipend is the way back; if you have already claimed it today, it is ready again the next day. There is nothing to buy.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. The app has no internet permission and opens no network connections. It works the same in flight mode.

What do you know about me?

Nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no ads and no analytics. Your Gilt, rank, achievements and settings stay in the app's private storage on your phone. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
